I wish I was able to make it to Ashland but ran into car issues. I'll be staying local today, mouth of the Amnicon river. For those of you interested in this spot here are directions from the twin cities. Its a good spot on a northwest, some driftwood but there's a spot for rigging completely free of any debris, one thing that's special about this spot, is the fact that you can literally walk across the beach and ride the mouth of the river, extremely butter smooth flat water! https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

nevermind about that map its not working, its on the Wisconsin side, going out of superior, take the hwy 13 exit, take a left, go 5 miles or so til you amnicon river rd. its a long dirt road.
