Tues Sep 17th I lost the bar for my 2013 Slingshot Rally 12M. Long story, but the punch line is that I folded up my kite at that dock on the north east shore that has the electric lift going up the hill. Lines were tangled so I disconnected the bar and tucked into the kite. I proceeded to walk north toward the grassy low area where you can get out and walk back to the boat launch and somewhere along the way it fell out of the kite. I retraced my steps, including both next to the road and back along the shore. No luck. I don't think it floats when the lines are wrapped around it. Maybe it will wash up on shore. If you happened to pick one up near the launch or see it the next time you get blown down that way, please give me a call 763-567-0906.
Also, last Saturday someone borrowed my pump at the launch but used their own tube. When I got it back, it still had the gauge attached.
Thanks!
Ken

Re: Lost Bar At Waconia (also have gauge of someone's)
Update, I found my bar! I went back Sunday and walked back and forth from 40 feet out to the shoreline. The water was fairly clear and the sun was shining down to the bottom. On my last pass, I found it washed all the way up on the rocks wrapped in weeds and muck, barely recognizable. I tried dropping in the water and sure enough it sunk to the bottom which is why I couldn't find it the first day. The floats barely keep up the bar without the lines, and it sinks wit the lines wrapped. After washing it off with the hose, I could finally see it was a knotted mess, but this time quite happy to untangle rather than buy a new one.
