not shaping great for today, since the wind will correspond to rain late, but tomorrow looks promising starting mid morning.

I got super skunked today at Clear lake! Arrived around 12:30 with several 10's and 12's out riding. By the time I got pumped and rigged it had totally died off. It was my fault though because I got a new kite and board this week that I have been anxious to try out. Kiteboarding is a cruel mistress indeed...

Yup. New kite, new board, skunked also at mille lacs. Tried launching at Garrison wind was good by the road but once you dropped down the bank into the water it was too low to get up. But my kite sure does look pretty. 12m Naish Ride 2. 2 strut kite. Universal bar. Give a review after good sessions are had. Thanks MK for the order. George

SE wind turning sw, and slightly higher forecast for the bear, so Kevin and I were the only two guys to go to Ramsey. After about a dozen tacks (or more?) finally got up to the gap. Windy, played there on the little sandy outcroppings with the pontoon boats while the wind shifted sw. Other than there not being a ton of room, it is a nice funnel w decent waves.
Wind got sketchy, and headed all the way back to Ramsey for a bigger board.
Had a FUN 1/2 hr flat water session from the island to shore. That is the make up for small fetch , and you can play just like those other flat water spots that we won't mention here.
Hope it was fun at the WAC today!
