Shrinkage?
Anyone know the water temperature at Mille? Wetsuit rideable? G.
Re: Shrinkage?
Well? Anyone going to Reddy Saturday?
Re: Shrinkage?
I'm definitely thinking about it. Have to see how things look in the am.
Re: Shrinkage?
Argh. Wind forecast has dropped just a bit. Kinda puts me on the fence about going.
FYI, according to a report in a fishing forum, Mille water temp was 42-44 degrees on the 22nd.

I think I will bag it for today. I know we are supposed to suffer for our sport but with marginal winds in the forecast (6mph at Brainerd airport as I write this), water temps still in the 40s, air temps barely touching 60, and almost no chance for some warmth from the sun, I think I'll stay home and get some yard work done. Hopefully my negative attitude will prove the forecast wrong and those that do get out will have a great day of riding.

Yep. I was thinking the same. No drysuit anymore and that's a bit chilly for my manliness to handle. Got to get out and try that sweet ride I picked up at the auction. Thanks Randy for the board and Mike and crew for your time.

STOPPED BY ON MY WAY HOME. The fishers were out in force. Traffic Jams @ the ramps. It would have been rideable, but with no wing-kiter & sunless cold, bleak skies decided the turnabout for home. Big crowd @ Ramsey & alot closer to friends' hot tubs. Even Dr. Anne was killing it. JimBo's in force with the JimPat duo on their 1st rides a d'Bear!
Drive, Kite, eat, sleep, repeat.
