Duluth Thursday?

Post by Barry P »

Kevin O has called a good day for Duluth coming up on Thursday. Who's in?

If work doesn't explode in the next two days and the wind doesn't slide too late, I've blocked it off.

Work sucks and I'm not really getting the window for this I've planned on.

Should I just blow it off?

Should I be responsible toward work and kite with Arthur at Belaire and help him launch his )@#*(&#@*# kite (again)?

Should be irresponsible and just let it go and drive up to Duluth and enjoy a Duluth day with Dave?

Come up here! There's also another local coming out I believe. Big sun, Big waves, Big ramps. I shouldn't even have to remind you

I'll be meeting up with MK in a few minutes and heading up. I should get there a little after 1:00.

Not an epic session, but certainly a delightful session. Fun play on thigh or waist high waves with dave12341234.

Winds were 10-12 when I got there at 1:30. When I left at 4:30 winds were 15 and waves were a bit beefier. Winds were a little bit side shore from NNE, so down-winders toward Wisconsin were working pretty well.

Dave was telling me about kiting Superior's South Shore on, almost NNE winds near Herbster on big waves since it gets deep fast and Cornucopia's crystal clear turquoise waters and white sands. All us kiters from the cities only cash in on the Park Point blows... we just might be missing out on the best stuff.
