Snow conditions?

Post by BSMITH »

Anyone get out today? Looks like another windy weekend. I've got to get up to Mille Lacs one more time!

The main lake of Minnetonka is totallly awesome right now.
We got out Sat, Monday night and Tuesday night. Last night was a total blast with the big wind we were out until 8:45.

this cold will help. we want it to be cold and still then quickly warm and sunny the days we ride then back to cold and still and cloudy.

looks like Princeton has a forcast high of 33 tomorrow, light wind and sun. without too much wind it won't damage the snow too much. It looks like we better hit it hard where there is snow sat and sunday!!

Where?

Pete, how did the snow hold up at Hunters Point last weekend?

We actually launched about 1 mile north of Hunters point. The road went right up to the edge of the lake. There was even a small fish cleaning house to change into some dry clothes afterwards. The conditions there were basically windblown hard pack with sparce drifting. Didn't see any terrain park stuff to goof around on but did see a number of cars making their way around out in the distance.
