Night Kiting spot - twin cities

Post by StrutWear »

I work very near a Parkers Lake in plymouth (County rd. 6 and Niagra lane). Its been my choice to go for kiting at night for a few different reasons.

There is a skating rink that is on the north end of it with very bright spotlights on til late. (i want to say until about 9-10pm, but not confirmed) This light pretty much lights up half of the lake, making it easy to see where you are going. There are very few houses and traffic on the lake. New snow stays untouched on most of the lake. Plenty of parking right off the lake on the north side with available outhouse.

Its a fairly small lake but definately big enough to kite on if you ask me (100 acres and round)

I might try it out tonight if i brave my 10m in these winds.
