Just got back from a morning session at Waconia. The wind, temps, and surface are perfect! Oh, and don't forget to bring the sun screen. :D
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out and loudly proclaiming. WOW! What a ride!!

Ditto that! I work a couple minutes from Weaver Lake in Maple Grove and snuck out for a quick ride. Some very nice sustained gusts. If you're in the Maple Grove area, Weaver Lake Park is on the east side of the lake and you can park near the beach. Easy access and perfect for today's west wind.

Really great wind. I started lessons early thinking it was going to fade but it didn't. WeatherBug, WindAlert, NOAA, and Weather Spark were all wrong with forecast when I checked. Mother Nature...playing tricks on us, glad we scored.
