Sat & Sun Wind

Post by Barry P »

Looking good for WBL, Cannon, & Waco this weekend!

Dress for the swim. Water is under 40 now with a little ice around the edge of some of the smaller lakes.

I would guess that Washington or Clear Lake would also work. The forecast for Clear Lake looks really good, although I have never kited there. I would like to get out this weekend, but with the cold water, I would prefer to kite with others as well. Please post when and where if you head out. Always a rush to kite in November!

Ripley was frozen over this morning and I'm sure Washington was the same.
However with the afternoon wind it opened up partially. With wind and the
warmer temps overnight it should make for a couple good days. I'll ride
Ripley Sat and Washington Sun. Hope to see others out.

Did you get out today? I was watching the real time wind forecast and it didn't look like it ever came up. See what tomorrow brings.

The AWOS at Litch & Hutch never reported better than 8-9. Readings in my
back yard only hit 11-12, so I watched and waited and never got out. Hopefully
tomorrow. It's blowing better now than all day!
