13m Slingshot Fuel 2010 2011 or 2012

looking for input from local riders that have been on the 13 fuel in the past 3 years.

do you like it?
what is the low end on a 132ish board?
do you wish you had the rpm?

I think you may be hard pressed to find anyone in the area who could help you out Avery. There are a few on the 2011 Fuels, but I haven't seen a 2012 in the area.

Might want to shoot our rep an email, Neil Hutchinson, nhukusa@aol.com.

I've heard good things about them.

Hey Avery, I have Denis's 2010 13 meter fuel now, and boy do I love it. It is a great kite if you like to keep the bar in one place and control the power with the board. I have found that it edges very far to the edge of the window and shoots you up wind when nicely powered. Other things I like, Great four line relaunch, just like a bow (or even better), great pop unhooked and super stable, will not move on you at all if you get a good pop off of it, has nice low end power (much more than a 12 meter RPM) and is still fun in lower wind.

Quite frankly, I think this kite makes the bridles on the new LEI's totally unnecessary. I also think you Avery would especially like this kite with your riding style. I also like the simplicity of hooking direct to the kite, no pulleys, no bridle lines to wear out and drop you in a bad spot. When this kite gets really powered up the boosting is great as well.

I like it so much I am looking for a 9 meter to compliment the 13, hopefully the 9 has the same kind of feel but will be able to handle wind up to around 35 MPH. That is what I am hoping for, as the 13 is still comfortable up to around 25.

If you are ever out and see that I have the 13 pumped up, come over and you can give it a try any time. Hopefully that happens soon, as I am really jonesing for a session. Been too long without wind around here. Hope to see you out soon.
