Lost Board on Waconia June 10th

Post by nima0501 »

Hi everyone. Just wanted to shoot a message out to the community that a board got away from me on Waconia this past Sunday. I spent around 4 hours scouring the shore with no luck. The board is a 2009 Slingshot Misfit 136. It does not have any markings / stickers (besides a very small bulge on the bottom by one of the rails). If anyone has any information on the board it would really make my day! Please call / text / email if you have any information. My phone number is 763-350-830two and email is matt@thenispels.com. Thanks for the help!

Sorry to hear about your board...good reminder for everyone to get a marker and write your name and contact number on your board. I've had several boards get away from me over the years... always had them returned.

Get your name and number on anything you want returned!

Words of wisdom! My mom has been telling me that since I was a little kid. Now if only I started listening..... :)

What direction was the wind blowing that day? You may want to try walking along the shore in the water where you think it would end up. There are some stretches along the cliff where people would not find it and it might still be there.

The wind was out of the SW. The day I lost it I walked the shore from the landing all the way to the middle of the north side. I also got a boater to drive me around and look for it. I'm pretty surprised that I was not able to find it. I guess its back to the classifieds for a new board  Thanks for the ideas. Hopefully I can keep track of this next board!

Try the boat launch in town. The fishermen sometimes drop it off at a lost and found there.
