Re: Cannon
I will be there by around noon tomorrow. Hopefully Denis can join us. Brian, is there any way to launch a kite on the north shore? I've never been to cannon. Thanks.

Re: Cannon
Eric, I will be down there around then and Kevin may come too. You can drift launch from a spot in the NW corner of the lake. Go past the bridge headed west. Just before the first house on the lake past the bridge, there is an opening on the side of the road that is wide enough for kites. A few guys can rig there. It is shallow enough for a solo walk-out drift launch. I would say this is an advanced-kiter-only only spot.
Re: Cannon
I'm sure That Mike and Brian will agree that the Cannon opener was good. Wave boards with 6 ooo's where the call. Let the warm winds continue.

Re: Cannon
The water seemed incredibly warm today. I was extremly hot in a 5/3 wetsuit. I stood knee deep at the mouth of the Cannon river (fishing) today for over an hour and my legs never felt cold. Normally, you get the icecream headache when your head goes under right after ice out. Not today.
Re: Cannon
Dr. Smith, bring your board shorts today. I'll bring the highly coveted Icon jacket. That along with your brazilian g floss...you should be comfortable and rockin that lake! See you there! The water on Pepin was crazy warm also.
Hope Randy Johnson appears. :*)
