SPI KITE ROUND UP

Air Padre sent a notice that it takes place early in May. Has anyone been? I like the idea of being able to demo most brands of kites, but wonder if it is a total "zoo." Or, too crowded on & off the water to still be able to enjoy some righteous sessions. Give me your take on it, please.

Not sure if was Air Padre or not but there was something similar this past fall. I did not notice much difference from one day to the next as far as crowds go. I think the people are going to be out there no matter what.

I went a couple years ago and loved it! I would go every year if I could. It was not over crowded at all. The event was held at south flats. A couple of the dealers let me take gear to the north flats for the day. Tons to demo! The events and after parties were fun as well!
