I think the conditions will be crap by the end of the day Tuesday. Anyone up for hitting the lakes Tuesday morning? Bring your sunscreen.
Jason, Lars; Which lake, launch might work for more S and W winds?

The wind is forcast from the west. You would have to go downwind far to get at the snow. This might be OK but I always like heading back to the car on a downwinder. Are there any launches on big bodies of water that are on the East side of the lake? I was thinking that the one off 371 on Gull might look good. I've never been there though.shinglepro wrote:So 9:00 AM N. Long Lake BIR access sound ok??

Yes. Gull will probably be the ticket for tomorrow. I was already thinking that myself.
If you continue North past North Long Lake 371 access, about two miles you will come to Hole in the Day Bay or The East Side of Gull Lake. There is easy walking access with plenty of parking.
Tell me what ya think. What time??

sounds awesome Jason!
I'll try to be there between 9 and 10AM. I'm planning on rolling at 7AM but you know how that goes somtimes.
Anyone else comming: I'm in a salt encrusted maroon Astro Van.
From the look of it, Gull on a west could have reaches that will blow your thighes and knees out if you go the full length. I had my fill on North Long Lake yesteray and I'm still paying for it. I should be good by tomorrow to taste Gull.
If it is no good at Gull, I'll probably head to BIR as a second choice. I'll tell you what, the snow is worth heading downwind to, and back.
