Nassau Bahamas and Vail CO

Post by reutersju »

Anyone ever kited Nassau in the Bahamas and have any tips? I'm headed there this winter and from what I've read I can expect NE trade winds 15-30 knots and shallow flat water. I'm mostly wondering about conditions, locations, and critters in the h2o!

Also, anyone snowkited in or around Vail CO? I am headed out there as well and I cannot find much on the web about locations near Vail.

Thanks,
Chad

Dillon Reservoir (Dillon, CO) is a hot-spot - about 45 minutes from Vail, closer to Breck and Keystone. They have a couple of events out there every year:

Winds sure get gusty in the valley. Have fun!
