Tighe, beautifully captured as best words can. You're right, we're talking about cultivating a 'feeling' of ride and Mother pushes/pulls in such fascinating ways. I only had an hour on the water and today my body's aching. But, the sweet images and felt sense of peace from such graced moments. Again, thanks for taking the time to express the experience as you do so well.

Straight on shore...not easiest conditions when the winds would drop, for sure. But, when it was up, and you could get out to what were maybe 8' smooth waves on the outside, it was Good.

Everyone's internal movies were recorded for high-def playback later: maybe last night, probably lots more times in the future.

You looked smooth out there, Tighe!

So well put Tighe, hope we all get a day like that again soon. I still get a little of the high back every time I think of the big glossy troughs and will for weeks!
Don't worry about getting in the way while on a wave or coming off one cause any one riding these conditions can get out of the way and understands it happens to us all. Acording to april 2011 Kiteboarder magazine Coastal wave etiquette indicates that the person on the wave has right of way (regardless of starboard rules) and it sounds like a good idea for here too even though the waves aren't as well defined. Anyone else thinking along these lines?
Anyway great to have the company and great stoke out there, lets do it again soon!!!

Agreed, such an amazing day! I finally got off the water around 6:00 that evening, not because the wind had died but because my body just couldn't take it any longer. The wind was still blowing and the sun had even started to peak out from behind the clouds. One of my favorite days behind a kite for sure. Hopefully we can do it again real soon.

nice, I was shot by 4 or 5...can't even remember. We had gotten on the water by 10:30 or so. And I snuck in a 30 minute snooze in the middle of the day.

Geo was right....high res video of the day keeps reeling through my mind.

more please
