Does anyone know of a good kiting spot on the West side of the lake? With an east wind Saturday, that might be a better option if there is a spot that someone knows of...............

There are no real good spots for kiter on the north shore (MN)... it is possible but the launches are tight and filled with massive boulders.
The wind typically turns NE on the western tip of lake superior regardless of the forecasted direction or the wind directions around the lake. Even if the forecast is for SE it will be NE on park point.
It normally ends up a little north of NE on the Duluth side making for great port ramps. The effect is reversed on the superior side.
22nd St is the spot to be for saturday!
