Hope you are all enjoying the MN heat, and I'm doing a wind dance for you.
Two of my friends have just been given an offer they can't refuse, which means they are selling their amazing kite lifestyle here in New Zealand. They have their own board making factory, cable park, kite school and live within minutes of some of the most beautiful kite an SUP beaches.
If you were thinking of quitting it all for a kite lifestyle, then this place is ready to just move in to and go!!!
Sounds splendid. If I weren't so rooted I would consider it. I'm still considering it though:) My kids would enjoy being kiwi's.
Fun to think of. As you recall we spend a fair amount of time watching the forecast here and hoping to get a ride off a wind prediction. Definitely different conditions. We would have to give up our easy access winter though...
It is one of those once is a lifetime things, which is why I posted it on here, with the cable park and SUP options its not wind dependent and you get to build your own boards!
Oh and Kiwi kids are the best, they get a whole life of being outdoors and in the ocean with no fear of crime.

BTW: Saw a neighbor walking a pair of Dalmations & was reminded of camping @ Carlsona.
