Advice on Kiting near Rochester MN?

I recently moved from the Twin Cities to Rochester and am looking for tips on riding in this area. I have read the lake descriptions and would love to connect with someone in the area who has experience with the launches etc. Thoughts?

I live in Rochester too...we don't really have close options during the summer months...winter provides some local sites on area ponds. The closest kite options for summer are Lake Pepin, Clear Lake in Iowa, or Canon Lake.

Mark, Thanks for the info. I drive 35 and 52 between Rochester and the cities often. Maybe some good options there. Take my info and let me know if/when you're heading out.
