Anyone Driving to South Padre in April?

ANYONE DRIVING TO SPI DURING APRIL?

There is a huge group of us flying down from April 7-18th. The way I see it, is the group is pretty large and each of us is likely to have a pretty nice UPS / FEDEX / BAGGAGE shipping invoice. I know from experience that towing a small trailer is negligible in gas and can even save you gas if you have an RV.

Anyways.... I figured if we could find ourselves someone that fit one or more of the following situations it could be a great deal for everyone involved.

SITUATION ONE:
-You have a hitch
-You will be arriving in SPI before April 7th.

SITUATION TWO:
-You have a hitch
-You will be leaving SPI after April 18th. (Perhaps Scottman? Heard you were RV-ing?)

If you fit one of the two above, please post below. Those of us flying might pool resources and borrow a small 5x8 cargo trailer and throw some doe, money, cash, dollars, your way for playing USPS.

*Granted we probably are not going to send just anyone with a trailer full of gear, but perhaps we find the perfect winds.

I would have tried to help but my days don't jive with yours, sorry, I'm driving from here on 4-15 to get there by 4-16 and then leaving 4-23, I hope thereare more people going down when I'll be there, can't wait to get there!

If anyone is planning on the days I am I will have limited space for someone elses gear, so send an email to me at sridout@hidglobal.com if you need or would like me to bring down your gear for you, I won't charge anything but maybe a dinner one night for my wife and I, seems pretty fair.

Hey all SPI trippers.
Bev and I are leaving Duluth at 1pm. on april 6, passing thru mpls. a couple hrs. later driving full size pickup
returning april 24 or 25. We could haul five or six extra kites & boards just for fun or tow a trailer for extra gas $.
On the way down we're stopping around Dallas to pick up a motorcycle & will have a rack on the back of the pickup
to haul that but I can build that to allow for pulling small enclosed trailer if needed. We will probably stay overnight somewhere between Greenville & SPI thurs. 4-7 and arrive on island mid day fri. 4-8. If that all works for everybody it would be cool, the only thing important is quick turnaround time in mpls. on the way down so we can get to the dealer
in time by mid day thurs. to pick up the new scooter. Anyway can't wait cause it is time for some warm wind , water,
& waves cause the snow sucks bigtime up here!
