Medicine lake

Post by scottman »

Anyone who missed yesterdays Medicine lake wind really lost out, man what an afternoon, I was just lit on my 14m Helix, massive jumps, got held up in the air about 20ft for I would guess 5 seconds I had time to look around it was so long! What a lake when the wind is NW!!! Snow was good, still had some epth to it and once you passed the road it smoothed out quite a bit. All in all a great afternoon, road with a few other guys, Matt hope you made it across the road. Hope to see some people out again soon!

And one gal......I thought that might be you Scott. Didn't know you moved over to the Helix's.

It was a blast there, I have fun jumping the car tracks...plenty of loft. I was even over powered on my 9m T3 at times.

So much fun!

Sorry Leah, didn't recognize you with all the cold weather gear on, I'm glad you had a great time, it was totally awesome yesterday, overpowered on my 14 but loving it. Yeah I decided to try something different again last year, I have been riding the 14 in just about every wind condition, I rarely take out my 9m Ozone anymore. I bought a 16m second generation Turbo for the real light wind days, nice kite, always have liked them. So far the Helix has been just an awesome kite to ride, tons of low end power and a lot of loft when when you jump, gets kind of scary on the snow when you bust out a huge jump you always cross your fingers the wind ins't going to di out mid jump.

How the heckhave you been, where have you been riding most of the time, been out of the country lately, I saw your pics from Mexico I think it was last year or the year before, time flies when your having fun. Are you going to be down in SPI this spring, if so maybe I'll catch up with you, I'll be down there 4-16 through 4-23.
