Yep you might be right for a north wind. After looking at the map I see that kite island and Wayzata Bay are a NE fetch not a North like I thought... Is there a place to park over there? Looks like a nice wind break with the island and close to the open wind.

Live wind meter too, just remember I think it is a little sheltered from a north wind...
