GEO, RANDY & I ARE PLANNING ON IT. I can't vouch for the conditions. We got a little coating yesterday & it's snowing again today, but...."Quien Sabe?" Let's hope it sticks !

Has any of this week's snow stuck to the ice? Hoping to get over to ramsey tomorrow or mahtomedi on Sat.

GOT SOME NICE RIDES ON WBL 2DAY. I'd guess there were around 6 inches of cover, but some places were bonded better than others. I had to throw up a 17 m to get moving. Maybe we'll get a better base after a few more of the forecasted clippers blow through. It's bound to blow as I'm stuck in Chicago all week. Have fun!!

White Bear is ready for business.
Beautiful Bluebird day, wind came up just enough to lay some new 8s in the fresh snow. Keith was nice enough to let me use his 14...since I showed up and "killed' the wind, why leave it laying there all lonely? Randy let Keith use HIS kite, so now I dunno who to thank. Just thankful.

Yeah, the surface is great until you get down to the the ice and loose the edge a bit. Flew a 10m from about 11-1:30 on the Mahtomedi side. Definitely need to get a bigger kite for light conditions as my hunger for air is growing!
