Where is the action today?

Where are people going today? I'm all set to go - just need to where to show up. The White Bear snow was ok yesterday in very light wind.

I have to work today. Yuck! So I'll be able to head out only for a couple of hours close to town. Michael Fox, maybe the other Mike B (the O.Z.) and me will try to cope with gusty winds and dodge parking sentinels on Calhoun. Arrival time will be around 12:30.

Hey Mike W, how's your wrist doing?

Thanks for asking, Denis. Not too bad. Still some pain, but I am flying with a brace so I don't make it worse. How was Calhones today? 6 or 7 or us enjoyed WBL today. Lots of fun. Windier than I expected.

Is there enough bite on the lake?

Not much snow on the lake. After trying skis most of us switched to skates on Calhoun. It was the usual, gusty and bumpy but fun to ride.

I want to thank Pete and Tom for the added ballast today. They kept me at arms length while I floated around just above Lake Calhones. The 5.5 foil was a real workout.

glad to see some snow today...

Calhoun yesterday had grip in parts with a 5 meter kite, but I was getting pulled off of my edge in the gusts when I was trying to hold an edge on the ice. Was there a decent amount of snow at Bellaire?

I bet it will be great after the dump today! Of course we get snow right after the kite freeze is cancelled. :x
