Places to ride (by wind direction) in Alexandria?

Post by johnz »

I'm going up in a couple weeks - haven't been there for a while. For South winds, I found a cool little beach on the North end of Lake Miltona on East Sandy Beach Drive

My question is - what other good launches are there for the other directions?

Any tips are appreciated!

IF U R WILLING 2 DRIVE...I've heard that Ottertail offers some nice options, & a couple of boardheads have cabins there. I think there is a wake/skate shop in Alex, & they know the local launches. Have FUN Z-man!

Thanks, Jimmy!

Yes, Ottertail is fabulous! some of the smoothest wind in the state, and that lakes goes on forever!

I'll be with the family however, and don't want to be on the road too much... Kiting, will be a third priority...Family time is second, and, well, never mind what the first one is
