Annual summertime Milly gathering

Any development for this? Hoping for a weekend that won't interfere with much but to get it peoples calendar.

Looks like Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Music Festival is June 11-13. How does June 18th or 25th sound? July 10th?

Too bad about Carlsona. Drove past with some students on Sunday and it looks like they aren't in motion to rebuild.

There will be a gathering of wind junkies on Lake Mille Lacs this summer on July 9/10/11. This is a non event. There is no registration, there is no formal schedule, there are no rules. This is time to join the riding community and share some laughs, some wind, and plenty of smiles. All wind riders welcome. Many come for the weekend and camp or stay at nearby hotels Kids are welcome.

The main spot people hang at is Malmo Park on the NE corner of the lake. There is a big grassy park and plenty of shallow water.

Either date works for me! The Crawdads will be relieved that you're leaving town. You may have gotten the last batch of BP free mudbugs! At least now you won't have to marinate your shrimp, or oil the frypan. BP has that covered!

I have 4 day weekends from the second weekend in July through the end of August since it's my last summer here for a while, but just as long as I have notice I will be there!!!

just an idea;
In this community, we have some very talented riders. It would be great to pick up some tips from them. Just wondering if some of that talent would mind putting on a short clinic or clinics. We could have the times arranged before the weekend. You could charge per clinic or we could pass the hat around for gratuity to all the attendees of all the clinics, In which all the instructors could split at the end of the gathering? Or hire a pro…or….

Nice job keeping it in perspective JZ. I'd sign up for the back roll yard sale, although I do land them occasionally (somebody testify).

Good idea rookie. It always comes up and if the wind gods, god, God, godess, Oz allows it I'm sure some talented rider will be glad to sign up for a few schillings or other forms of currency.

July 9, 10, and 11? Going once...get your Outlook calendars or post-it notes handy.

Since you were 1 of the 4 in my first class ever taken July 9-11 it is. Actually that's not the total reason but if helps to get you up there...

I posted the dates on the home page under events and should probably update the Events section of the website too.

If history has an indication we should have another grand collection of souls. Anybody know how to massage the tent rights for Carlsona (or what it used to be)?

Hmmm Moms 80th Birthday Celebration or the gathering. Thats a tough one but since Im hosting her Birthday Celebration over that weekend at the lake Ill be missing the Gathering and hoping you all get plenty of wind!
