FINALLY got the slideshow done. It's a little long. Actually it's a lot long but I wanted to include everyone and I really wanted to just get it online. DVD slideshows for those in the official LAKAWA group are being burned and can be brought to the lake next kite session or put in the mail. This is playable on any DVD player and in movie format, not single images. If you would like prints, image files, or other photo related products you can order those in the shopping cart portion of my website. There is a link at the end of the show (just click on the shopping cart icon) or you can also go directly to http://clients.jennbarnett.com and look for the Lakawa Surfari gallery. The gallery will be online tomorrow. The slideshow will be online for one week and the gallery for 30 days.
You can see the slideshow at http://www.jennbarnett.com/lakawashow
I had a great time with everyone and I'm looking forward to the next trip!
See you on the lakes!
Thanks!
Jenn

WOW! Nice work to both in front of and behind the lens. I wanted to go so bad - Envy is good motivation...

Thanks Sam! It was a fun trip with a great group of people. You should go on the fall Lakawa trip if you can.

The full set of photos is online now at http://clients.jennbarnett.com
There are lots that didn't make it into the slideshow so the photos are separated into smaller galleries, for the most part by day.
There is special Lakawa pricing in place as well, for both files and prints.
One print 8x10 or smaller or a single high res file: $40
2 prints or files: $30 each
3 to 9 prints or files: $20 each
10 or more prints or files: $10 each
Lots of other products are also available: postcards, notecards, greeting cards, large prints, canvas prints, mugs, magnets, buttons, bookmarks, wall clings, albums, stickers, puzzles, dry erase boards, calendars, luggage tags, shower curtains, anything you want to put a print on pretty much! Just let me know!

ANOTHER GREAT EDIT, JENN! I would encourage anyone to get the DVD or the individual shots, not only for your own memories of a great time, but also to help support our "Artist in Residence," allow her to keep showing up for our sessions, and recording these beautiful images.

Thanks so much Normann! It was great getting to know you better in SPI. Thanks Tighe.
The slideshow is down now. I'll be making another shorter one with just a few of my favs to post on my blog at some point. The online gallery is still active and posted in my website shopping cart here: http://clients.jennbarnett.com along with other kiting and travel galleries.

Just look for the lakawa surfari gallery. Though if you were part of the official Lakawa group that booked through Mike, you already get a slideshow.
Hope to see you soon on the lake!
Thanks,
Jenn

Jenn....Looks like you had a great time with some real keeper shots in there too. I would love to make a trip like that sometime.
Not sure if you have tried this, but when you are shooting in the water, spit on the acrylic end your lens port and rub it around. It will make water run off cleaner and reduce water tension. This will get rid of the water drops on your port. I only have to do it every 10-15 minutes when I'm shooting in freshwater, but when your shooting in saltwater, it has to be done every 5 minutes or so. I also try to keep my camera in underwater as much as I can to keep the end from drying and giving water drops a grab hold.
