Grahams BiGGG Day at Belaire! :)

Post by GrahamMansell »

I walked out of my school's doors with a warm SW wind blowing my hair back, got home quick, kites went in the trunk speedily and i was to the lake and on the water by 4:30. little did i know that me and my 13 meter kite would experience fluctuating rain and SW 45 mph gusts. or so i think. I have never had an hour that was so powered up like that in all my life, and I am still so stoked that i held down a 13 in some of those gusts. big lofts and big wipeouts here and there were for sure incorparated! i even had to have Arthur grab my board becuase i was trying to bady drag back upwind but helplessly being dragged away, and i was just fine. i got the board within seconds and powered away all stoked and happy. :o It was such a perfect day today. sunny, warm, and extremely windy.
Unloading my car in the garage, i felt empowered to have such a great day on the waters of WBL! looking forward to many more extreme days.
