Getting out this afternoon?

Post by Coach »

It's looking pretty windless the next few days, except for today... Anybody getting out? I'm thinking of heading over th Bellaire right now - 2pm.

3rd day in a row on Cedar Lake (WI). as a term, windless is a close description to what the conditions have been out here. i am glad to be a competent ice skater so that i can skate around to keep the kite up long enough to catch the infrequent puffs. to add, Happy Holidays!

Today

Today definitely was a lighter day. I grabbed the ol' 11.8 airblast and headed out to Medicine, EassSide. The wind at 6-10knots out of the wnw combined with the blue sky and warm sun made for a memorable ride.

Lake conditions:
Fishhouses approx .25mi out from the east beach, vans and full size pick-ups parked in shallows, spotty patches of snow.

Storms a'brewing in the Rockies and headed this way...ooooooh yeahhhh! 8)
