Slingshot at the Crossing

Been chatting with our slingshot rep from Hood River, Chris Schey. Sounds like he's bringing all the new goodies to Demo. 2010 Key HDs, 2010 Octanes, 2010 RPMs, and maybe some new Fuels. I'm stoked to try the new gear.

We're planning on creating a Slingshot Lounge like last year. Stop on by, check out the new gear, take a spin on your kite of choice or try them back to back. We'll also be on hand all weekend to check out your current SS setup to see how it's tuned.

Sounds like many of the local Slingshot riders are coming up as well. If you have questions, they're also great sources. Katie, John Z, Denis, Randy L, and maybe Chris B, should be around during the weekend.

Bringing the grill as well.

I HOPE THEY BRING BIG ENUF SIZES FOR THE LIGHT WIND! I'd like to try the new KEY, but think it is going to take something 14m+ to get going. It looks good in pictures, & the press has been good. Will it live up to the "HYPE?"

That should be a good amount of bigger sizes for this upcoming event...

Also tons of stickers, hand made by momma Slingshot - Cindy Doyle. Some really special chrome ones... First come first server on those... Slingshot crew will also have a nice wind block chill area with "beers & brats"! So if you want to try the best and eat the worst come over and hang out why would ya... HA!

Well the wind could have been much better but the event was fun enough... Thankfully for the sunny weather, good people, food, beer and winchin the event was still a success!

Kites were up early Friday for those lucky few... Riders were stoked!
