Snow is deeper than WBL and untracked.

Warm snowboard from house placed on cold snow = high friction sandpaper surface.

I felt like I was pulling a one-bottom plow out there. Logan confirmed my perceptions and also said the snow was really slow.

One word:

WAX!!!!
