LK MTKA Today? 2/5

Looks like we may have enough snow. Anyone been out on Tonka or planning on going out today? I can be out at 1ish. Where would be a good place with WSW winds? Looks like 12mph...

I just got done riding on Tonka. In my opinion the wind has too much east and north in it for Kite Island today. I launched over by Cottagewood and sailed out into the middle of the lake from there. I would suggest launching by Cottagewood or on the otherside of the lake by the arcola bridge and Sailors world. The wind is pretty east.
Wish I could have kited longer but I am heading to my friends cabin for the weekend so have to hit the road.
Snow was really nice out there today!
