Rice Lake (Lino) - Sunday - ETA 1:00 PM

Post by Travii »

NW corner of Rice Lake (on Lake Drive and Hodgson Rd) ETA 1:00PM

Follow Lake Drive up to the Chominix golf course road (Aqua Lane) hang a right and park at the lake trail entrance. Follow trail onto the lake. Should be a nice light wind day with perfect alignment for this area of the lake.

We were too late getting out to Rice Lake. By 2:00pm, the winds had died down substantially. I think the best window was from 10:00 to 12:00. Anyways, I was able to give my friend a first lesson. On the bright side, it was an absolutely beautiful day out there with all the sunshine.

Graham, I will give you a call next time. How is Pleasant Lake? I always thought they would call the cops and shoot my kite out of the sky if I tried riding there since it is a 'gated community.'

Is this a good option for tomorrow afternoon (S 10-15 mph)? Where do you park?
