Okay who was on Calhoun & TV

9 AM on Channel 9 news just had a guy with a beard on a yellow and red Ozone kite..Who might that be?

That was Doug. Can't remember last name. Used to have a good memery back in the 60's.

Doug, were you out again last night? My friend Matt and I got Calhoun a little after dark and saw two skiiers out; at least one had an Ozone. We launched from the SW side near the dock that is just offshore. I live super close to Calhoun, so I'll be out there evenings when I can. Hope to meet some of you guys when its a little brighter out.

Conditions out there are marginal, lots of icy patches, but definitely edge-able even on a snowboard.

I was out there with a friend last night. Both of us skiers, Ozone 12m. It was gusty and windy to say the least. Snow was decent like you were saying.

I saw a boarder out on an Ozone and then someone else who looked to be setting up a kite(southwest corner of the lake).

I looked for the video link on their site but didn't find it and got distracted by re-usable diaper piece that aired. It fit with the home life so now we're weighing that out.

Looks like another kiter piece is airing on Sunday night Minnesota Bound with Ron Shera. Anybody know about this? I'll be watching for familiar faces and location. Not sure if it is older video or something new. Regardless, should be fun to see.

it may be a piece that was done the day before Kite Freeze number 2.

That was me, doug jones. The kite is an '05 5 meter frenzy and on the inside trailing edge is the red and white north face logo, stiched in.
I was out for about two hours after work just going back and forth having fun and enjoying the sunset.
