Kite Lost & Found at Reddy

I met a guy today that lives just west of Reddy. Yesterday he found a kite and line set in the woods behind his place. He said the kite has no rips and was still fully inflated.

I lost it a Few Months ago I think...... I got in a sticky situation and had to let it go..... I looked around for it but wasn't able to find it. From the sounds of it, it flew a little farther West than I thought. Anyways, I talked to Dude and he said they had it and found it in the woods while deer hunting behind their house, fully inflated. I swung by on sunday and picked it up along with my bar and lines. Really nice people and had many good things to say about Kiters and Community and how we're taking good care of the Beach at Reddy Creek... I Gave them a Reward for the find even though they didn't ask for anything. Really nice people!!!!!!!! Glad to have my Kite Back in Mint Condition!!!!

Thats badass I remember reading about that months ago, these kites these days are the shit, think about how long that thing has been in the trees.

John, that's just amazing. I just went back to read your original "Lost Kite Reddy Creek ... Kiting Storm fronts use caution..." post from July.

When Del walked up to me and told me about this kite he found. I told him the story I had read 3 or 4 months ago about this guy who had to let his kite go at Reddy. When he told me the kite was in perfect condition and still fully inflated, I thought no way was it connected with that story. I figured I had missed a posting of a recent loss. I'm just amazed. That is a kite you can take into battle. Wow.

I'm glad it found you again.
