Hi everyone! I put up a slideshow of photos from a couple of weekends at Mille Lacs, the Crossing, and a very short day at Superior. :D

Damn, now that's got it going on. What a gift from a very gifted eye! I'll definitely be contacting you for some Just Be it shots. In my days with the House I worked with some damn good action photographers. The only problem is that when you're that quality, everyone's coming at you, so watch out. Rick Leeks got that reputation and caught a fin head scalping from Robby Naish. When he was in the snowboard halfpipe, his camera often actually got hit by some of the riders as they came off the lip. Anyway, Jenn, I don't know what the market is now, but for sure, those shots are quality for any magazine. I've rarely seen someone capture the water and sky with such imagination. We've got to get you in an innertube and drysuit on Lake Superior so people can see more of the outrageous beauty happening in Minnesota.

Thanks guys! What great compliments. I've been doing music and travel photography for a while (lots of local and national music pics on my blog if you're interested in that). These are my first kiting pics, though I did get some paragliding shots when I was in Jackson Hole last summer. So, still building my portfolio in order to pick up some paying gigs soon and looking for some extremely talented and slightly crazy people to take pics of in any more extreme sports- ice climbing, winter surfing on superior, kiting, snowkiting, acro paragliding, base jumping, snowboarding, street/mtn biking etc.

Stoked to get more photos! Drysuit and innertube on Superior sounds good to me. Though I might need a little more protection for my camera than my current set-up that consists solely of electrical tape. :) Looking forward to seeing some of you at SPI next month!

Thanks!

Nice shots Jenn!

if you ever do decide to go hardcore on a nice waterproof housing setup, Essex makes a really nice one. http://www.surfhousings.com for a reasonable price.

I have one and they are really slick. If you see a guy at the beach with flippers on his feet and a camera in his hand... that's me.
