Ski Movies Coming

The snow season is approaching !!!
Warren Miller's latest show, Dynasty, hits the State Theatre on Saturday,October 24th with two showings (6:00 and 9:00). You can pick up tix at Ticket Master or Pierce Ski Shop in Bloomington. There may be other ticket locations that I'm not aware of.

The other ski flick out there is a documentary film about a teenage kid, Kye Petersen, who goes back to Chamonix, France to ski a run that killed his father when he was 2 years old. Kye learns the ropes of skiing the steeps from Glen Plake among others. It's a true story taken from the book The Edge of Never by Bill Kerig.
It's playing at 7:00 on Tuesday,October 27th at the Oak Street Cinema near the U of M. You can check out the website for ticket info at www.edgeofneverfilm.com
