can you fix a pinhole leak on the leading edge by patching over the material? Or do you need to pull the bladder out, find the hole, patch the bladder, reassemble? fu@#s*Itda*n

The leading edge is like a wheelbarrow tire. The outside material of the leading edge is the tire. The inner bladder is the tire tube. You need to apply the patch directly to the bladder pin hole leak. Good Luck.

what's the best way to find the leak? it is a very slow leak. do i take the bladder out and fill then hold under water?

Yes, but that is the easy part. Installing the leading edge bladder can be difficult. There are instructions or video on "how to" out there somewhere. Maybe someone has a link or check with kiteforum.com. Check it out before you remove the bladder. Good Luck

TRY THE AIRTIME WEBSITE. They have detailed instructions, as well as any parts like bladders, valves, patch kits, etc. They'll also fix it for you. Just ask LindorfFF. Blow it up, hold it underwater, squeeze, watch for bubbles, and mark the spot. You can also mix up some weak soap solution, & spray it on the bladder to look for leaks. Just make sure you rinse before applying a patch. Good Luck!
