Sea weeds

Post by Amaury »

Planning on going to Waconia on Sunday. I haven't been there for a while now. I don't have an anti weed fin. Just wondering if it's a must at this time of the year (I drove by Lake Calhoun today and I got scared...).

Thanks

Lake Waconia doesn't look nearly as bad as Lake Calhoun or Lake Harriet do, but I encountered at least a few weeds when I was out there working on drift launches on Tuesday evening. I could have used some anti-weed lines, not just anti-weed fins. (I could have used some wind, as well, but that's another story.)

I'm hoping to make it out to Waconia on Sunday, so I'll see just how weedy it is. I'm hoping to put everything together from the lessons I've been taking, so I can get some riding in and see why you guys have been having so much fun.
