Clear Lake, Sunday morning?

Post by Geo »

It looks like a smallish window, but the experimental is showing decent wind for Sunday morning. Even NOAA saying gusts to 30. Wind is changing around, unsettled, but there should be some rides for ornery Fathers (and others) early on.
I have never been down there, but it would be the only possibility of a wind fix in the near future.

Well, now; I feel much better now that the "thrill" of getting woken up by the noisy party house 1/2 block away :!: has worn off. Call the police (did i mention Ornery?). Check the wind. Laugh my ass off at Jim's chigger response. Build my civic Wind Karma up. Go back to bed now.

Is anybody going to Clear Lake IA today? Wind looks good, 16-18, SE but with scattered T-storms. I would like to go, kite between the T-storms.
