Lost: Kiteboard at Malmo, Mille Lacs on Sat(5/30/09)

Post by smrsco »

I lost track of my kiteboard('08 Liquid Force Mission) after a crash at the southeastern end of Malmo this past Saturday(05/30/09). I walked the shore three times and came up with nothing  .

Give me a call if you hear/find anything...

Thanks,

Scott

Scott sorry to hear you lost your board (this is a good reminder for all to mark your boards with your name # and address)

My friend Peter also lost a Liquid Force Wide the 08 WLF its a black board.

I drove to all the fish resorts, access, launches, private homes, etc gave my card to them and combed the shoreline and water into the dark that night for you guys also but nothing and hopefully a fisherman or local hands it in at one of the fishing resorts and we get a call, and Ill let you know asap.

Have Faith I met a kiter that got a call from a pawn shop in southern Florida saying that they had his board. The funny part he lost his board in Jacksonville a year and a 1/2 before that. It will show up hopefully it is marked. They always show up. In Hatteras fisherman hold ransom on all the boards the find and kiters pay it without a blink. $100 is a hell of a lot better than $500-$800. good Luck

Thanks Nathan! I really appreciate the help

I'm guessing someone had to pick it up if neither of us found anything along the shore. The thing I'm kicking my self for now is that I didn't mark it. My main board is marked but I never got around to marking the one I was using Saturday. I hadn't even planned on using that board, I threw it in the car at the last moment just in case...
