I don't know about you but I've been scanning the forecast models for wind this weekend. I think Monday has a good probability of being ridable. The lows have to strengthen a bit more but the isobars are already looking decent.

If you're itchin to get out, put the thought out there....wind on monday. Believe, cast all doubt. We can make it happen. aaahhhhhhoooooooommmm

The long range is showing an Easterly flow setting up on Superior. Open Water forecast can be a decent indicator of what's coming down the pike for Duluth.....

Yeah, I'm itching to get out there as well. I've been looking forward to taking on-water lessons ever since the ice melted on the local lakes, and I've been getting jealous while reading all the posts from people who have had great sessions lately. I can't wait.

I'm in a Nationals Volleyball tournament that happens to be held here this year at the Minneapolis Convention Center. I've got a team that picked me up from Boston/RI. I'm trying get something going for later Sunday afternoon to have some more fun with them. Anyone have a party I can crash with some outta towners Sunday lakeside? I've got a 19' I/O boat to add to the mix for some wakeboarding and wake skating. If not I'll bring'm to my place.

As for Monday: give me a "W"....give me an "I"...give me an "N"...give me a "D!"

Thanks to all who put the vibe out there. It worked!!! All the forecasts have come in line and we've got 15-25mph plus across the state for today.

I'm heading to Mille. Not sure if we'll end up at Reddy or Garrison. Depends on how much East is in the wind.
