New Home page image

Post by Tighe »

You may have noticed the new image on the home page ( if not hit reload). To cover my butt I'm gonna give credit for the photos.

Jason took the one of Eric S (tweaked a bit).
Not sure who took the one of Todd ripping on his snowboard.
And the master of flight is Mark Doyle taken by Rebecca Sanders.

I was going to change the site name from Lakawa to FLAKAWLIA:
Frozen Lakes Area Kiting And Windsurfer-Like Iceboard Advisory

But decided against it. ; )

Nice work Tighe. I look forward to the ice and snow. Hope to ride with you up north this winter.

FLAKAWLIA is a switch stance Flaka into a clew first Wille Skipper. You can't use that name cause I've already claimed it on the water. Don't you read the mags?

No, really, nice work on the graphic Tighe.

Great new look! It would make an awesome T!

Mark Miller took the snowboarding photo of me on Crosslake. Love what you did with the kite!

Pequot Tool finished the Switch Blade prototypes...making a few minor aesthetic changes and on to production! Will be looking for a few test pilots & feedback soon....Will put together a few rigs for people to try out...BRING ON THE ICE!!!!!

Todd when you're ready to talk about it, feel free to post info about the Switch Blade here. I think it sounds like a great winter boarding option. I've wanted to be on a snowboard more though the conditions haven't really been the best for a standard stick. From what I've heard about your system that may no longer be the case.

Psyched to see the protos.
