Of course, I have an excuse: I get to hang out with my girls since Dawn is away. My cohones will stay put. and warm I guess.

SUNDAY
NE WIND 20 TO 25 KT...WITH A FEW GALE FORCE GUSTS TO 35
KT. :shock: RAIN LIKELY AND A CHANCE OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IN THE
MORNING :o ...THEN RAIN AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON.
WAVES 4 TO 6 FT BUILDING TO 5 TO 7 FT IN THE AFTERNOON. :lol:

SUNDAY NIGHT
NE WIND 20 TO 25 KT BECOMING N 10 TO 15 KT AFTER
MIDNIGHT. RAIN IN THE EVENING...THEN A CHANCE OF DRIZZLE AFTER
MIDNIGHT. WAVES 5 TO 7 FT SUBSIDING TO 2 TO 4 FT LATE.

Its blowing in the mid 30's with the temps about the same... I'm not sure I can keep myself off the water much longer. - I think I'm going to go give it a try....

The first day time out in cold water is always a bit nerve racking. Wind was great (probably 4.5M), waves were huge but it’s hard to sail well when you’re so nervous. Sailed about 45 minutes until I broke a harness line and called it quits.

Would have better had there been a few other idiots out there with me....

Maybe I'll sail this year................that would be nice. Hope to be on the water soon!
