White Bear Report

Post by Dave Z »

Ramsey is open for bizness with open water out past the rock pile.

Bellaire has a way to go but the ice is looking real gray...give it a day or two.

Here's hoping the long range holds with forecast SE wind this Saturday and Sunday. Oh wait, that's right. I'll either be putting up more tile or hunting for Easter eggs!

Here is what it looks like from my house...I haven't been down to Mahtomedi but I assume the ice is piling up an the east side. Bellaire will be rideable any day.

I was replacing windows in my new home in Mahtomedi today. I was'nt able to get the house at Bellaire, but got one near Dellwood instead. Four seasons launch still needs some more ice out. Ramsey is ready to go. Randy, I got myself the last 14 TD3 from Midwest as well as a 13 Rev. This was my last ditch effort to spend any money before my wife controls everything from this point on. I can hardly wait to hear some frogs at night instead of taxi horns and angry rap. Never thought I'd see the day.

If I could afford that house, Dave, I would live on an island someplace up north and commute in my helicopter. I am at least 4 blocks from the Bear, off of Quail. It's a giant step up from my first house. I'm just happy to leave the ghetto. I've got the Jeffersons theme song in my head constantly!

GOOD TO HAVE YOU IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, MIKE! Who needs thumping rap? We've got leaf blowers! Does your new 'hood have any frontage they share? I've noticed a couple other potential launches to the north of Wildwood.

No deeded frontage, but a pond they call Long Lake is acrosss the street from me. If I build someone a new set of stone steps or a backyard fireplace, I'm sure we can strike up some kind of deal. yes Jim, the leaves are going to make a lot of noise even without the leaf blowers when the wind blows. I am half way between Ramsey and Four Seasons.

Build me a new set of steps and you can come to Cedar any time. Our steps got demolished by the ice this winter.

Yeah dave, I looked at that house.. I didn't like the color of the fireplace brick so I passed on it. Nothing's perfect.

Thanks ya'll. Looks like Minnesota will be my resting place. I have always wanted to plant a tree and watch it grow for a long time. Is Cedar a good place to kite? Building some steps is no problem for me if you provide the materials. These days, I have felt very blessed and willing to give back for what I have received. What I take equals the love I make, or something like that.

Cedar is super for N,NW,S and SW. 3 miles long and a mile wide at the widest spot. We enjoy riding there. It's only 33 miles from St Paul so not exactly a haul.
We're off to Padre but I'll contact you about the steps when I get back, proper charges though. If I have to pay for someones work I'd rather it goes into the pockets of weird people like us.
