Please share what are your best sources for wind forecasts for Calhoun and Kite Island. I am having difficulties figuring out what to expect.

I forget who told me this, but I think it's right...

"The best forecast is the one that's right"

That being said, none of them are perfectly dependable. If you click on the Wind link on the header of this page, that links you to the NOAA forecast which is one of the better tools. Otherwise, you can go to http://www.weather.gov and click on the location on the map that you want a forecast for and then choose "Hourly Weather Graph" from the bottom of the page. I know that's not really clear but hopefully it helps!
