is landboarding on frozen ground that is 50% ice. I was jonesing for some kiting, so I thought I'd pull out the old landboard. Nothing went right. I went to Flying Cloud airport...the soccer fields there and threw up the kite. I could tell it was gusty, but it seems to always be gusty there. I think it's just a bad spot to try to kite. I never claimed to be that smart, but you have to be really dumb to try landboarding on ice and I guess that's what I am. After about an hour and a half, bruised knees and ribs and grass-stained clothes, I figured out that a landboard doesn't work on ice and there's better things to do, regardless of how windy it is! Pray for snow!!
It's going to be really windy on Wednesday--what to do??

I bought an extra set of tires for my board so I could put ice spikes in them. Haven't gotten around to doing it yet......
But I'm hoping it works.
