Small Lakes

Post by cautionkid »

I think that some small lakes/ponds may be the ticket right now. Lakes or ponds that havent seen much traffic should be pretty smooth right now. If anybody has any info of smooth Ice lets hear it. I bought a Lift ticket yesterday first time in 3years.

I haven't checked it out but there is a non motorized lake across the street from me that no one uses in the winter. It's fairly big.

Howard lake off of hwy 23 in forest lake/columbus.

There is public access off of hwy 23 on the south side of the lake.

I'll get out there tomorrow and check the conditions for everyone.

No go checked out a couple small lakes/ponds all bumped out, need snow or warm weather to melt everything so we can get back on the water.
