Howdy everyone in minnesnowta! Its been a great fall in the gorge mostly great kiting, winds been a little weak for windsurfing, 80 degrees yesterday. I was kiting solo yesterday at swell and my board got ripped off my feet by a big swell. The sun was right in my eyes so I lost sight of my board real quick and I looked up stream and there was a barge a mile away headed for me. I contemplated my situation for about 2 seconds and bid a tearful fairwell to my beautiful underground board and dragged into shore. I spent an hour looking for it until it got dark and went home with my tail between my legs. Before I search today my question is: In a 20 KT wind and a 3 KT current which way will the board float ? Larry Olson if you are out there please reply since you have had previous luck finding your board, I lost your cell phone number. My number is 952-210-1184 a local call for you MN boys.
