Marco Island

Heading down to Marco Island the 2nd week of March. Looking for any info on kiting the area. Thanks.

I go down to Marco Island every year I will be down in March 18-25 for a family wedding it looks like we will just miss each other.

Tiger Tail is the place to kite on Marco Island. You can park at the Tiger Tail Beach lot load ALL you stuff up and walk out to the beach, depending on the tide you might need to walk through waist deep water to get out to the beach. There is also a great Cafe at the beach (parking lot) which serves a great burger.

At the end of Tiger Tail there is not nearly as many people as there is in front of the hotels on Marco.

Everytime I am down in Marco I see kiters but I am always tied up with Family stuff so I never have time to go.

If you are looking for a great fish sandwich go to the Sand Bar..
